Sea Unseen

Through the weather-beaten windows of seaside shelters the North Sea reveals itself in a fragmented tapestry of colours. The glass, scarred by time and vandalism, distorts the view into an abstract picture. Each pane, marred by scratches and graffiti, filters the scene differently; transforming the expanse of water and sky into a series of shifting abstract images. Sea, sky and land merge in the weathered glass creating a haunting distorted seascape where reality blurs into impressionistic art. Occasionally the panes of glass are replaced and the process begins again.
